We're building the test prep we wished we had.
LATORIN started when a group of tutors and engineers got tired of overpriced, underwhelming prep courses. We believe every learner deserves realistic practice, honest feedback, and a clear path forward.
Our mission
Make world-class test preparation accessible to every learner, in every language, on any device. Without the gatekeeping.
How we got here
- 2023
2023. The frustration
The founders failed their first IELTS attempt despite paying for an expensive prep course. The material was generic, the practice tests felt nothing like the real exam, and progress was invisible.
- 2024
2024. The build
A small team of engineers and IELTS tutors came together. We spent a year on the real difficulty of each exam and on the grading engine behind the report.
- 2025
2025. The launch
We opened LATORIN to our first group of learners and reshaped the prep path around their feedback.
- Today
Today. The mission continues
IELTS Academic and General, full computer-delivered mocks with an AI-graded report. Still building, still listening.
